This first evening back from the island was enjoyed on the SFU mountain, watching the lightning crackle through the sky, and the warm summer rain fall. We watched the storm start through the window, from inside the Vietnamese restaurant. On the drive home, it was coming down in sheets and the sky was flashing into beautifully wrong daylight every few minutes. It was decided then there was no way we were now going only home.
It's been a really beautiful night.
That rain has this fantastic smell, and is a perfect sound to open your window and fall asleep to.
